In Osun and Delta States, the "No Means No Worldwide" (NMNW) initiative was activated to reduce sexual violence and HIV transmission among 10-14-year-old girls and boys. The IMSAFER Orphan Vulnerable Children (OVC) program trained 22 female and 20 male instructors, empowering them to educate their communities. This two-week training was supported by the United State President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC).

It covered mental, verbal, and physical aspects, following the No Means No Worldwide curriculum, with a focus on setting boundaries, self-defense, and de-escalation to prevent gender-based violence and HIV transmission. Through innovative dual-gender approaches, male instructors adopted the NMNW model, addressing prevention, intervention, and recovery. Their role involves mobilizing communities, teaching boys to support girls, and collaborating with local organizations for school and community interventions against sexual violence and HIV risk among adolescents.
